It helped that I only had a small space to tackle. If you don’t have a lot of money to renovate or redecorate, focus on a small area to save on time and material.

We used leftover paint, pillows and other items we no longer use in our home to liven up the space.

I knew how I wanted it to look, so I just searched until I found the items I was after. I also make a lot of craft items such as wall art and vinyl tiles that work well inside a caravan, so if one of these products didn’t sell, I just used it here! What do you enjoy most about your new caravan? The fact that our children love it. On our first trip, the kids made new friends and played outside for hours. Not once did they watch television or play on their ipads or phones. What’s next? We’ve just redone our kitchen at home, so I think I’m done with dust for at least the next two years. Although a swimming pool would be nice...
