Raw cement was used to create eye-catching window frames in this Rondebosch kitchen. “We wanted to frame the windows so they stand out against the raw brick wall and complement the natural aesthetic,” says homeowner Naeemah Noordien. A slurry of water and cement was added to the cement frames to enhance the raw look, while grey aluminium frames and transparent security bars add an industrial touch. >>
