Vondeling’s Rurale Blanc de Noir 2015 (R265; vondelingwines.co.za) is made from whole-bunch, pressed, organic (uncertified) pinotage grapes – and due to the labour-intensive production process, only 1 200 bottles were produced! It’s crisp, full without being sweet, complex with a subtle blush of salmon-pink colour, and boasts a red berry bouquet with a hint of spice. Cheers!
