3 Once the cement was dry, we painstakin­gly cut and laid the artificial grass. Before cutting the pieces, make sure the grass ‘pile’ lies in the same direction so that it looks as natural and neat as possible. The grass was then glued to the cement in-between the pavers with Alcolin Contact Adhesive, which is heat- and moisture-resistant.

Apply the glue to the cement, then position the grass strips and press them down before the glue hardens. Remove any glue that lands on the cement pavers straight away as it’s difficult to remove afterwards. We had to resort to thinners and steel wool!
