Carefully remove the cheesecake from the pan with the help of the loose base; place the cake on a pretty platter and garnish with extra smoked salmon ribbons, cucumber and radish slices, capers, fresh basil and sliced tomato. Also add edible flowers if desired.

* Look out for frozen salmon offcuts at your supermarket or deli; they are much cheaper than the packets of ribbons.
