THEIR WORK Houthakker, which specialises in decorative wooden furniture pieces, was founded by high school sweethearts Corinne Landman and Franco van Wyk during lockdown. The creative duo wanted to fabricate small wooden items that change the atmosphere of an entire room, without breaking the bank.
“Made from European oak, our top sellers are the Honey Bath Caddy (R895) and Anna Stool (R1 375). They work well together, adding warmth and texture to a bathroom. The Bath Caddy is perfect for holding a scented candle, bath salts and perhaps a glass of wine… The Anna Stool offers a convenient spot to keep your jewellery or a towel while you indulge in some ‘me time’,” says Corinne.
