Cute and compact

Alstroemeria ‘River Valley’ is a new, low-growing Inca lily for garden borders and containers. A truly compact plant of just 30cm tall, it bears highly attractive cream and green variegated leaves and large, deep pink flowers with a yellow throat and dark stripes on the inner petals. Plant it in sun or semi-shade in fertile, organically rich soil that drains well. It requires moderate watering and should not dry out completely. Container plants do best in morning sun with afternoon shade and regular watering. This summer-flowering perennial should be protected from frost with a thick bark mulch that’s applied before the first frost.
