Lon­don’s Tate Modern ret­ro­spec­tive of her work af­fords Ger­man de­signer and artist Anni Al­bers (1899-1994) lon­gover­due ac­claim for her re­mark­able oeu­vre. Co­in­cid­ing with the ex­hi­bi­tion is UK fab­ric man­u­fac­turer Christo­pher Farr’s launch of two beau­ti­ful Anni Al­bers fab­rics: Orches­tra (pic­tured), drawn from works in­flu­enced by her child­hood vis­its to the Ber­lin Opera, and Tem­ple – from a study for the Ark pan­els she cre­ated for a Dal­las tem­ple in 1956.
