Now in its fifth year, The World Travel Mar­ket (WTM) Africa – tak­ing place at the Cape Town In­ter­na­tional Con­ven­tion Cen­tre from 18th to 20th April – is Africa’s lead­ing B2B ex­hi­bi­tion for in­bound and out­bound tourism mar­kets. With over 5,000 travel-in­dus­try pro­fes­sion­als in at­ten­dance, and ap­prox­i­mately 77 coun­tries and re­gions be­ing rep­re­sented, at­ten­dees are vir­tu­ally guar­an­teed of mak­ing at least one valu­able con­nec­tion. All kinds of travel is also rep­re­sented at the event, from ad­ven­ture travel, ac­tiv­ity hol­i­days and sa­fari hol­i­days to cul­tural and her­itage tourism, as well as busi­ness travel.

Fol­low­ing an in­ter­na­tional for­mula which has al­ready proven suc­cess­ful, WTM Africa mir­rors the struc­ture of the WTM Lon­don and Ara­bian Travel Mar­ket in Dubai. Con­se­quently,WTM Africa de­liv­ers a healthy mix of brands, in­vited me­dia to pro­vide ex­po­sure for the event, pre-sched­uled ap­point­ments with travel ex­perts and buy­ers, ca­sual on-site net­work­ing through­out the day, sched­uled evening func­tions, and travel trade vis­i­tors.
