TASTE OF THE VILLAGE

Echo Events hosted the third annual Diamond Route wine event at Cullinan Junction in June, with wines from around the globe, and some local gems available to taste at The Village Tasting Room and other stalls. Although lovers of fine wines and treats will have to wait for the next Cullinan wine festival to come around to enjoy the atmosphere of this once-a-year event, visitors from across Gauteng can still enjoy the myriad of stores in the historic town on a day-, weekend- or extended visit. Take a tour of the Cullinan Diamond Mine, try homemade liqueurs and snacks at Just Ginger, stay at the Cullinan Premier Hotel, and enjoy a light meal in the Lemon Tree garden restaurant.
