Spruce up your gin-and-tonic recipe with some­thing a bit more in­ter­est­ing than just a lemon wedge. In­stead, why not add a touch of lo­cal flavour to take it up a notch with this Buchu-in­fused recipe?


60 ml Wilderer Fyn­bos Gin (or any other fyn­bos-in­fused gin) 150 ml tonic wa­ter 150 ml Buchulife Sparkling Herbal Wa­ter (lime vari­ant) 1 ta­ble­spoon fresh lime juice A slice or two of fresh lime for gar­nish A sprig of fresh Buchu (op­tional)


Place a glass in the freezer to chill for ap­prox­i­mately 10 min­utes. Place a few ice cubes in the chilled glass. Mix to­gether the gin, tonic wa­ter, sparkling wa­ter and lime juice.Add slices of lime and sprigs of Buchu to gar­nish.
