We recently received a phone call from a passenger who sang Janelle’s praises. The passenger, after being delayed on one of our flights, realised that she would not be able to go on the trip she had planned, as she would miss her connecting bus in East London. She became extremely anxious and could not hold back her tears. After receiving some help from a passer-by, she met Janelle. The passenger said that Janelle was great and knew exactly how to handle the situation.“She helped me to move my flight to another day, and contacted my accommodation to help so that I didn’t get penalised”. Thank you, Janelle, for being a superstar and helping out a passenger in her time of crisis.
Sydney Saayman & Leo Erlank Crew B737, Cape Town
Recently a passenger needed some assistance and two of our crew stepped in to help her.This passenger had just landed after a very long 18-hour business trip from Joburg to Cape Town and noticed that she had a flat tyre when she went to collect her vehicle. In her own words,“It’s official. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear pink and blue! Two dashing pilots came to my rescue with smiles and a professional attitude. Leo Erlank and Sydney Saayman, thank you for helping me last night and still taking the time afterwards for a chat and a laugh. I will be, from here on, a loyal and proud FlySafair customer”.
