RIVERBED DINING
Jock Safari Lodge now offers Riverbed Dining as an exciting new dining option. Situated at the confluence of two rivers – the Mitomeni River and Biyamiti River – in the south-western corner of the Kruger National Park, this unique setting provides the perfect opportunity for guests to enjoy a traditional, barbeque-style feast around a campfire. As the sun sets over the bushveld, a range of gins, champagne, cold beer and other drinks are on offer to enjoy while watching elephants coming down to the river to drink. Diners may settle into vintage-style canvas safari chairs, or lounge on oversized Persian cushions to enjoy this unforgettable experience. The chefs dish up delicious meals including a selection of fresh salads and a variety of meat off the grill.Traditional desserts are served out of authentic tin mugs so they can be enjoyed around the campfire, to end the riverbed dining experience on a high note.
