This year’s Shi­raz & Charcuterie Fes­ti­val is the ideal late Au­tumn out­ing, com­bin­ing some of South Africa’s finest Shi­raz wines with de­li­cious charcuterie from ar­ti­sanal pro­duc­ers. Anthonij Ru­pert Wyne’s range of Shi­raz wines in­cludes the lim­it­e­drelease Anthonij Ru­pert Syrah, and the site-spe­cific Cape of Good Hope Riebeek­sriv­ier Shi­raz and Protea Shi­raz. Join­ing these will be wines from 18 of the coun­try’s top Shi­raz-pro­duc­ing es­tates, in­clud­ing Thelema Moun­tain Vine­yards, Mullineux Wines, Rick­ety Bridge Win­ery, and Harten­berg Wine Es­tate. En­joy these with a wide range of tan­ta­lis­ing lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional charcuterie, fea­tur­ing ev­ery­thing from salamis and cured hams to flavoured chori­zos. The Mac­a­roon Bar – fea­tur­ing deca­dent flavours such as salted caramel, cho­co­late cherry and milk tart – guar­an­tees a per­fectly sweet fin­ish. Pre-book­ing is es­sen­tial as tick­ets are lim­ited.
