Tem­ple Is­rael Her­itage Cen­tre hosts free live street per­for­mance

TEM­PLE Is­rael Her­itage Cen­tre hosted a free live street per­for­mance to bring peo­ple to­gether through mu­sic on Tues­day in pur­suit of jus­tice, ubuntu and a bet­ter world by fight­ing all forms of “ha­tred of the other.”

The event was hosted to­gether with #get­pea­ce­pro­ject a project that makes films that make a dif­fer­ence, pro­mote peace and tol­er­ance and in­spire pos­i­tive change.

The fol­low­ing artists per­fomed; So­phie Nza­yisenga, play­ing the inanga and vo­cals) Rwan­dan artist, Jeremy Dan­ne­man from the USA played the sax­o­phone. Lo­cal drum­mer Siphiwe Shiburi and Mpho Mo­likeng from Le­sotho was on Per­cus­sion.

Reeva For­man from Tem­ple Is­rael Her­itage Cen­tre thanked the com­mu­nity for at­tend­ing the event de­spite the cold weather.
