‘Kunqunywa abangu-6 imilenze ngenxa kashukela’
BAYISITHUPHA abantu abanqunywa imilenze KwaZulu-Natal ngosuku okusho ukuthi ngonyaka bawu-2500 abagcina bengenamlenze ngenxa yesifo sikashukela.
Lezi zindaba zidalulwe wuNgqongqoshe wezeMpilo KwaZuluNatal, uDkt Sibongiseni Dhlomo, ocele abantu baKwaZulu-Natal ukuthi bazivocavoce ukugwema isifo sikashukela nezinye ezidalwa yindlela abantu abaphila ngayo.
Izolo uDhlomo ubesemcimbini wokuqwashisa ngesifo sikashukela obizwa ngeDurban Wellness Festival obusebhishi eThekwini.
“Sithole ukuthi ngosuku bayisithupha abantu abanqunywa imilenze ezibhedlela zikahulumeni kulesi sifundazwe ngenxa kashukela. Siyanicela ukuthi nijwayele ukuzivocavoca, niyeke imikhuba emibi engibala kuyo ukubhema notshwala. Ngiyanicela ukuthi nidle ukudla okunomsoco ukugwema isifo sikashukela nezinye izifo ezidalwa yindlela esiphila ngayo,” kusho uDhlomo.
Uphinde wagqugquzela abantu ukuthi bazihlolele isifo sikashukela emitholampilo kahulumeni okungenani kanye ngonyaka.
Uthe ngoLwesithathu kuzogujwa usuku lokuqwashisa ngesifo sikashukela emhlabeni jikelele ngakho ucela abantu ukuthi baqinisekise ukuthi bayalwa nawo.
“Wonke umuntu kufanele azi kabanzi ngesifo sikashukela ukuze athathe izinqumo ezizosindisa impilo yakhe.
“Uma sithola ukuthi unoshukela manje akusho ukuthi sizonquma umlenze wakho ngonyaka ozayo kodwa siwunquma uma sekunezinkinga. Kuningi ongakwenza ukuqinisekisa ukuthi akubi nezinkinga zikashukela,” kusho uDhlomo.
Uthe uyajabula uma ebona abantu begijima noma bezivocavoca ngezinye izindlela ukuze baphile isikhathi eside.
“Ngisho unesifo sikashukela noma umdala kusafanele udlulisele ulwazi onalo kubazukulu bakho.
“NgoLwesithathu uma sesigubha usuku lokuqwashisa ngesifo sikashukela emhlabeni jikele sizobe senza lokhu ngaphansi kwendikimba ethu “The Family & Diabetes” okusho ukuthi umndeni wonke kufanele ulwe nalesi sifo,” kusho uDhlomo.
