LEADERS IN CREATIVE MEDIA STUDIES

-

THE creative media sector is a specialised field. As such, it requires that educators have the necessary know-how and experience in order to help students develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry and cultivate their skills to a professional level. This is the view of Kevin Pallium, CEO of Creative Arts College. “This cannot simply be achieved through a textbook, desk and chair. Beware of education ‘factory’ institutes offering every possible programme with no real interest in a field of study or your career path, but rather just an interest in filling up their seats,” he cautions.

Creative Arts College is recognised as a specialist institute of excellence by the DHET and MICT- SETA (Sector of Education and Training Authority). Students are supported beyond the classroom with industry experience and career-relevant support such as demo tapes, portfolios and show reels.

Students also get to work in a practical environment with industry-standard equipment, which gives them a sense of confidence when they enter the working world. All programmes at Creative Arts College are careeraligned and include the element of business and branding to optimally prepare students – not only as great employees but also as potential employers.

Creative Arts College offers 16 SAQA qualifications, varying from NQF Level 4 to Level 7, which could set you on the path to achieving your desired future. “Choosing a career is a critical decision, and choosing the right college will play an equally critical role in actually helping you realise your dream,” adds Pallium.

“Creative Arts College is your access to the creative media sector. Check out our website or visit one of our campuses for more information. #Blessed to be a creative.”
