The club was recently approached by AmaTuks for the services of leftback Keegan Ritchie, but decided against the move. Chippa United owner Chippa Mpengesi confirms that midfielder William Thwala was never on loan at the Chilli Boys from Orlando Pirates as many assumed, insisting he was contracted to his club before signing a two-year deal with Chiefs recently. The club is believed to have identified Bidvest Wits’ midfielder Papy Faty as a replacemen­t for Bongani Zungu, should he leave. The club has been approached by Vasco da Gama for the services of Samuel Julies and Seun Ledwaba on loan. Argentine midfielder Alexis Sebastian Cabrera Coronas is expected to arrive at the club for an assessment at the end of the season. Mame Niang is on his way back after cutting short his loan spell in Cyprus at AEL Limassol. The club has terminated the contracts of Veluyeke Zulu, Themba Mavundla and Ayanda Nkosi. Burundian defender Valery Nahayo is still waiting to be paid his settlement dues following the terminatio­n of his contract. The club says the delay is because their sponsors Shisa Nyama have not yet released the funds. Liberian striker Kpah Sherman has moved to Santos on loan for the remainder of the season.
