CHIPOLOPOLO RETURN?

Collins Mbesuma is Zambia’s sixth-highest goal scorer with 22 goals in his 65 games played, but he last featured for his national team in June 2017 as Chipolopolo were beaten 1-0 by Mozambique in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. Yet the 33-year-old insists his international career is not yet over. “I’m still available for my country,” he says. “You need to understand that I was out for a while and since I have started playing again, I hope they will take notice and we will see what happens next.”
