We are now running short of superlative adjectives to describe the performance of the silky Manchester City.

The Citizens had claimed a comprehensive victory against the Reds at Anfield. The Reds were completely butchered in their own slaughterhouse. This is a typical Soccer encounter that gives the football fanatics some goosebumps.

What is quite pleasing is that the youthful Phil Foden is fitting well the position left by the midfield maestro David Silva. Foden is growing in stature and stamina. Pep Guardiola has dominated England in ball possession, scoring prowess.

The greatness of this adventurous Spaniard cannot be disputed, he is still hugely indebted to bring the UEFA glory to the footballing city of Manchester.
