• Kaizer Chiefs take the unusual step of responding to a social media post that claimed the club was for sale. The vehemently deny there are any plans to sell and call it “fake news”. • Cape Town City extend the contract of midfielder Mpho Makola for another season, keeping him at the club until June 2022. • Mamelodi Sundowns have instituted a multi-million Rand lawsuit against the agency of former coach Pitso Mosimane as they seek to regain commission given to MT Sports prior to his shock exit for Egyptian giants Al Ahly last year. The agency is run by Mosimane’s wife, Moira.
