When the chips were down, the late Senzo Meyiwa was one player you could depend on. He used to cry when things didn’t go well – he was too emotional about Orlando Pirates because he loved the team too much. He passed on in his prime and could have reached a higher level.

Patrick was a smart left-back and one guy that if you played against him, you had to be careful because he was also capable of attacking. He was talented.

Tshegofatso Mashego

I played with Tshegofatso at Free State Stars. He also played for Tembisa Classic and Thanda Royal Zulu. He was a good fullback who could play both right- and left-back.

Prince Olomu

I played with Prince at Free State Stars, he was a Nigerian international. A workaholic who could also score goals.

Sthembiso Ngcobo

A very humble and soft-spoken guy but on the field he wanted to win everything.
