Hugo Broos has a problem
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has a problem. He once lamented a bad attitude from the security personnel when he wanted to watch Mamelodi Sundowns’ DStv Premiership game against Orlando Pirates. After that Goodman Mosele absconded from the squad without his knowledge. It was not the end of the tale; he called it sabotage as Thabiso Kutumela reportedly took a COVID-19 vaccination shot before the World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia. Later Broos said he was aware of Kutumela’s jab.
I do agree that he is doing a good job with the national team, but he is also frustrating us supporters. I believe, somehow, he has a bad attitude towards us South Africans. I don’t know if he is aware that Rivaldo Coetzee is only 24 years of age. I don’t mind that Sundowns left-back Lyle Lakay was not selected because of his age, but Ronwen Williams is also no longer young as well. By Terah Maqepula, Mount Fletcher
