Someone betrayed Hlompho Kekana

STAR LETTER

- By Terah Maqepula, Mount Fletcher

It’s amazing how life can be sometimes. It is true that you can be good to the people but that doesn’t guarantee you their faith in you.

I’ve been a Mamelodi Sundowns supporter for 25 years now but seeing Hlompho Kekana being sidelined by the current coaches at the club is killing my soul.

I’m happy and enjoying their winning rhythm but without him being given a chance, it leaves me lot of question about life. Every time I see Hlompho on television, in the papers or social networks, I feel like crying.

I feel like someone betrayed

Hlompho, I feel like whoever dislikes coach Pitso [Mosimane] has turned their attention to Kekana. I’m absolutely sure that coach Manqoba Mngqithi, Rhulani Mokwena and Steve Komphela sat him down about the situation, but I still believe that Hlompho is hurt.

H He is humble and very d dedicated, he works hard.

H He wanted to compete with o other players. He knows and is a aware of his age, he knew he w won’t play every game. I’m not d demanding any explanation, b but this is my own opinion a about a Mamelodi Sundowns l legend. I sometimes even miss h his long-range shots, that hurt me more.

To Hlompho, never mind how people feel about you, but stick to what your parents taught you. You are Mamelodi Sundowns for life, keep walking.
