HOW OTHER GHANAIANS FARED IN THE PSL

-

Ghana hasn’t exported the best of talents to South Africa through the PSL era with not many making the cut at any of the bigger clubs.

Kwame Peprah has been lucky in that he has found a fellow countryman in Richard Ofori at Orlando Pirates, giving him a shoulder to lean on.

Though Ofori has his own issues to deal with, his familiarity with the league will help him as he is into his fifth year playing in the PSL having joined Pirates at the beginning of last season after three years with Maritzburg United. Previously, Pirates had goalkeeper Fatau Dauda, but he battled to play before leaving for Chippa United where he also didn’t last long.

So much was expected from Bernard Morrison, but he didn’t deliver while Edwin Gyimah had a decent two years at the club.

Chiefs have had Louis Agyemang, who flopped along with big defender Jonathan Quartey, while Rashid Sumaila, Brimah Razak, Emmanuel Baffour and Abubakar all didn’t last long at Sundowns.
