HOW THE TRIO HAVE FARED AT NATURENA
LEONARDO CASTRO
Since arriving at Chiefs in January 2018 from Mamelodi Sundowns, where he won four trophies in two-and-ahalf years, Castro is yet to win any silverware. His goals return stands at 29 in four years which is not convincing for a centre forward who has totalled 113 appearances through that time. The call to make for Chiefs will be either to continue investing in an injury prone forward in his 30s or consider a younger option.
LAZAROUS KAMBOLE
Besides improved earnings that have bettered his life, Kambole
has disappointed. Two goals spread over 42 appearances as he heads towards the end of his third season is a poor return that looks to have the exit door widening.
SAMIR NURKOVIC
This is the first club where he has last this long as he approaches three years with Chiefs.
He has been a nomadic forward all along in Europe.
His first season was impressive with 14 goals, before he scored another six in the next campaign for a total of 20 goals in 68 appearances.
A goal every three games is not disastrous for a player who arrived on a free transfer.
