Trevor Daniels
The late goalkeeper Trevor Daniels is part of the older generation that reached the 1993 Coca-Cola Cup final before losing to Bush Bucks. He was a good player and was competing with Farouk Abrahams. He was a good person as well and a good winner.
John Mbidzo
I played a lot more with John Mbidzo than Mark Byrne – and John was unbelievable. A very funny guy off the field and an intelligent defender. He gave us stability and he could also adapt.
Jean Sebastien Bax
Sebastien Bax was a tall guy who was good with his feet. He liked playing and rarely lost the ball. He gave you that dominance in midfield and was good at passing short and long.
Peter Philander
Peter was a talented number 10. He left Hellenic and came to Santos during the 1997/98 season. He was a talented player and could shoot and was a good dribbler. It’s a pity he didn’t fulfil his career.
Gerald Stober
Stober was another typical center forward who was good at running channels – he had a good shot with both feet. I enjoyed playing with him.
