Ghana hurt us

- By Terah Maqepula, Mount Fletcher

There is nothing sweeter than laughing last. Let me take this opportunity to express my feelings towards the Ghana Football Association.

You hurt us when we were protesting against the match official [referee Maguette N’Diaye] not Ghana Football Association. You called us names for the world to see us as feebleminded people. You disrespected us. Remember when the match official gave a dubious penalty against Senegal, Senegal Football Association protested against that dubious penalty and we as the South African Football Association never interfered on that until FIFA made a ruling.

In the beginning of Afcon, the Southern African football fraternity were watching how Ghana will perform. When they went out in the first round, we were celebrating. We celebrated because you humiliated us for the world to see us as bad losers and people who don’t understand football.

You forgot that we supported you at the 2010 World Cup here in South Africa. It is my honest wish that you also loose in the World Cup playoffs. You don’t deserve our support.
