‘THEY SHOULD ACCOMMODATE THE FANS’

-

Though domestic football has now topped two years of being played in empty stadiums, it still doesn’t feel normal for the players.

“They used to call it the new normal but right now I feel like once it is safe, they should accommodate the fans,” Lebohang Maboe says. “Growing up ,we never used to watch football in empty stadiums. It is understandable that people’s lives are far more important than football but once the storm has passed, I believe that we should have our fans back in the stadium. “I believe that any fan of any team is just waiting to hear that fans are now allowed back in. We miss the fans because it is not the same without them,” he adds.
