PROPERTY-RELATED INCIDENTS: TOWN AREA

THEFT OUT M.V. - MAIN STR (Thurs 18 January @ 02h02) - Officer responded to panic alarm. Client reported that a guests’ vehicle had been broken into. Suspect was taken in for questionin­g but could not be positively linked and was released. SHOPLIFTIN­G - MAIN STR (Tues 22 January @ 15h45) - Client telephoned to report a suspect grabbed items and fled. Allsound Officers responded, suspect was apprehende­d and stolen items were recovered. Case was opened and suspect was handed over to SAPS. COMMON ROBBERY - RAWSON STR (Tues 22 January @ 11h00) Gentleman reported that his wife was robbed the previous day. An unknown male grabbed her bowling bag on the Sunday at approximat­ely 16h00. Matter was reported to SAPS and a case was opened. SHOPLIFTIN­G - WATERFRONT DR (Tues 22 January @ 20h54) - Officer responded to a Panic alarm. Cashier reported that suspect stole from the shop and fled. Allsound Officers apprehende­d the suspect. SAPS were notified. BURGLARY - GRAY STR (Tues 22 January @ 23h07) - Allsound guard reported that corner of display window was broken and mannequin was knocked over. Owner was notified and confirmed an items of clothing was missing. No case opened at the time.

PARADISE / KNYSNA HEIGHTS / WESTHILL

THEFT OUT M.V. - ERICA STR (Mon 22 January @ 03h09) - Client requested assistance after 3 suspects broke into vehicle. ID book and other small items were missing. Suspects fled in a blue and white bakkie. SAPS and Allsound Officers located the abandoned vehicle which was reportedly stolen earlier that night. No arrests made.

OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY MILKWOOD DR (Thurs 18 January @ 09h07) - Officer responded to alarm signal and found fence cut and force marks on the back door. Owner was not available to open house but later reported TV was missing. Case was opened.

INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES

BURGLARY - CALENDER STR (Thurs 18 January @ 23h36) - Officer responded to alarm and confirmed breakin. Keyholder was notified and could only see Fridge open. Unsure what was missing. SAPS were notified. BURGLARY - CONCORDIA RD (Tues 22 January @ 11h00) - Client reported that storeroom door was found forced open. Suspected to have happened sometime over the weekend. 2 Chainsaws and 2 Weedeaters were reported missing. SAPS were notified. HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD / FISHER HAVEN

THEFT - HUNTERS ESTATE DR. (Sun 21 January @ 16h58) - Resident reported that someone entered her unlocked garage and stole food drink from the fridge. Time of incident was estimated between 14h00 - 16h45. No suspect descriptio­n was available.

BURGLARY - KATONKEL STR (Sun 21 January @ 23h20) - Client reported a break-in at the property. Suspect reportedly threw a rock through window, reached through grabbed a cellphone and fled. Allsound Officers searched the area, no one found. No case opened at the time. BURGLARY - HUNTERS ESTATE DR. (Mon 22 January @ 01h41) - Client requested assistance following break-in at the property. Suspect gained entry via garage and interleadi­ng door to house. Owner reported jewellery, cellphone, tablet and laptop were missing. SAPS were notified and a case was opened. BURGLARY - HUNTERS ESTATE DR. (Mon 22 January @ 19h24) - Resident reported a break-in at this home. Suspect forced the burglar bars on open window. Incident happened between 12h00 - 17h30 that afternoon. Food, a digital camera, a cellphone and cash was reported missing. Case was opened with SAPS.

THEFT OUT M.V. - PHANTOM RIVER PASS (Tues 22 January @ 10h00) - Our Control Room received a call for assistance after 2 property owners reported that their vehicles had been broken into during the night. Time of incidents was unknown. Cases were opened with SAPS. OTHER INCIDENTS:
