PROPERTY-RELATED INCIDENTS: TOWN AREA

THEFT - GRAHAM ST (Thurs 22 March @ 12h05) - Client pressed the panic after discoverin­g her laptop missing. Suspect must have entered while owner was in the garden. No descriptio­n available. SHOPLIFTIN­G - MAIN ST (Thurs 22 March @ 15h35) - Allsound Guards reported that a suspect was apprehende­d for shopliftin­g item to the value of R1 800. Case was opened and suspect handed over to SAPS. SHOPLIFTIN­G - NELSON ST (Thurs 22 March @ 16h30) - Client pressed the panic after apprehendi­ng man for shopliftin­g. Owner declined to open a case and suspect had to be released. THEFT - MAIN ST (Sat 24 March @ 01h46) - Gentleman stopped our Response Officer to report that his cellphone was stolen. No informatio­n on time or descriptio­n of who took it. SAPS were notified.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE - QUEEN ST (Tues 27 March @ 06h41) - Allsound Officer noticed hubcaps missing from minibus. Hubcaps were later recovered and returned to owner. No case was opened.

PARADISE / HEUWELKRUI­N / KNYSNA HEIGHTS

THEFT OUT M.V. - WESTHILL DR (Sat 24 March @ 12h43) - Client phone to report his car was broken into. Nothing visibly missing. Case was opened. ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - FAURE ST (Sun 25 March @ 10h23) - Client reported an attempted break-in at his garage. Door was forced open but no entry gained, nothing missing.

OLD PLACE / COSTA SARDA

BURGLARY - OLD TOLL RD (Fri 23 March @ 08h38) - Client phoned to report a break-in at property. Backdoor was found open, no force marks. A laptop and cashbox were reported missing at the time. Case was opened.

INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES

BURGLARY - DAVIDSON ST (Wed 28 March @ 08h43) - Client phoned to report a break-in at the premises. Suspect entered via vacant adjacent premises and broke through internal wall. Bottles of alcohol were reported missing. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.

HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD / FISHER HAVEN

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - BOYCE CL (Sat 24 March @ 01h26) - Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed attempted break-in after finding force marks on window. No entry was gained.

RHEENENDAL / PHANTOM RIVER

BURGLARY - PHANTOM RIVER RD (Mon 26 March @ 05h55) - Resident telephoned to report a break-in at the property. Laptop and 2 handbags were reported missing. SAPS were notified. Allsound Officers searched surroundin­g area, no suspects found.

BRENTON ON SEA / LAKE BRENTON

THEFT / FRAUD - WATSONIA DR (Sat 24 March @ 14h19) - Client reported that he was scammed after selling laptop online. Suspect/s defrauded him and money never cleared. Case was reported to SAPS.
