The fairest faces of them all
A total of 10 Knysna and Plettenberg Bay Ace models (above) will be representing the Garden Route this weekend in Rivonia, Sandton where Ace Models will be choosing their new face of 2019. Currently, Sedgefield local and Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is the face of the agency internationally. According to local director and teacher Charmaine Kruger, who has been involved in modelling since the age of four, more than 500 models from 17 franchises nationwide will be competing at the conference. “The models have worked hard and we cannot wait to showcase our talent. This is a big highlight of our year and an uplifting experience for all of them,” says Kruger. During this event, South African models are also scouted by Ice Model Management, which Kruger says is “one of the biggest and most well-known agencies in the world”. Knysna-Plett Herald wishes these models all the best for the weekend.
Candice Brink, signed to Knysna Ace Models, looks like she could grace the cover of any fashion magazine, anywhere in the world, and has already been scouted by prestigious modelling network Ice Model Management. What’s more, she is only 14 years old. She will be one of 10 Knysna and Plettenberg Bay models to represent the Garden Route at the upcoming 2018 national Ace conference in Rivonia, Sandton from 22 to 25 June.
