PROPERTY-RELATED INCIDENTS: TOWN AREA

BURGLARY - LONG ST, HARBOUR TOWN (Sat 16 June @ 02h39) – Alarm signals received from premises. Officer confirmed positive break-in. Shop door was forced open and numerous bags and shoes were stolen. Suspects fled in a vehicle. Case was opened with SAPS. COMMON ROBBERY - N2, TRAIN BRIDGE (Wed 20 June @ 10h26) – Our Operations Manager was notified that a victim was robbed on the train bridge. Suspect’s name was provided by the victim. Allsound Officers and SAPS Officers searched area. No arrests made at the time. BURGLARY - REMEMBRANC­E DR (Wed 20 June @ 22h33) - Allsound Officer was dispatched to alarm and found small window forced open. Keyholder was notified but could not see if anything was missing. No case opened at the time.

INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES

BURGLARY - GLADSTONE ST (Thurs 14 June @ 01h53) – Officers responded to alarm signal and confirmed break-in at classroom and vehicle also broken into. SAPS were notified and Keyholder opened a case. BURGLARY - GLADSTONE ST (Mon 18 June @ 04h27) - Alarm signal was received and officer confirmed security gate and door were forced open. Keyholder confirmed that alcohol was missing. CCTV footage was reviewed and 2 suspects were identified. Informatio­n was passed on to SAPS.

THEFT - GEORGE REX DR (Wed 20 June @ 02h00) - Allsound Officer spotted 2 men pushing a heavily laden trolley. When stopped and searched, it was found that the trolley contained machinery believed to be stolen. Both suspects were handed over to SAPS for possession of possible stolen items.

HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD / FISHER HAVEN

BURGLARY - GALJOEN ST (Wed 20 June @ 10h19) - Resident stopped the Allsound Officer to report that his garage was broken into. Power tools and a weedeater were reported missing. Time of incident unknown. Case was opened. THEFT - LINDSAY ST (Wed 20 June @ 13h28) - Client reported that their laptop was stolen while they were out. Suspect reached through an open window and pulled laptop out. Exact time of theft unknown. Case was opened.

PHANTOM RIVER / RHEENENDAL

THEFT - PHANTOM RIVER ROAD (Wed 20 June @ 15h00) - Resident from estate reported a theft which occurred the previous week from one of the properties. Entry was reportedly gained via open door while residents were home. A cellphone and handbag were stolen, bag was later recovered. No case opened.
