Bomb scare in Knysna
Knysna police station was closed on Wednesday 27 June after receiving a bomb threat. As a result, Queen and Montagu Streets were temporarily closed. SAPS communications officer Sergeant Chris Spies said, “Our bomb disposable unit is busy investigating and we had to evacuate the premises as a precautionary measure.” The Knysna fire department and the Tsitsikamma Dog Unit were also on the scene.
