- PROPERTY-RELATED INCIDENTS:

TOWN AREA

COMMON ROBBERY MAIN RD (Thurs 5 July @ 02h20) – Allsound Control Room Operator spotted a man running down Main Road and dispatched Response to check area.

A gentleman stopped our Officer and reported that he had been robbed of R150. SAPS were notified and cameras assisted in identifyin­g suspects. 2 Suspects were apprehende­d by SAPS. Victim declined to open a case after getting his money back. THEFT - VOORTREKKE­R ST (Thurs 5 July @ 12h10) – Gentleman phoned to report seeing 2 men leaving a burned out property with a trolley full of scrap metal. Allsound Officers were dispatched and located 2 men at Scrap Metal dealer. Items had already been offloaded and it was not possible to determine what was taken. No case was opened. BURGLARY - GRAY ST (Fri 6 July @ 22h21) - A witness phoned in to report 2 men breaking in at neighbouri­ng property. Allsound Camera Operator identified 2 suspects carrying a large bag between them and tracked their movements to Taxi Rank. Three Allsound Vehicles responded and apprehende­d the suspects. All stolen items were recovered. Case was opened and suspects were charged.

THEFT - WATERFRONT DR (Sat 7 July @ 13h03) - A lady reported that her phone was stolen earlier that morning and requested assistance after tracking identified a possible location. SAPS and Allsound Officers responded to last location of phone, no suspects identified. A case was opened. BURGLARY - MAIN ST (Sun 8 July @ 12h55) - Client reported a break-in at premises. Entry was gained via unlatched window and interleadi­ng door was forced open. Owner reported nothing missing from the premises. THEFT - MAIN ST (Mon 9 July @ 17h05) - Client telephoned to report that a cellphone was stolen from Shop Counter. A man and woman posing as shoppers were identified as the suspects from CCTV footage. Case was opened and footage was handed over to SAPS.

THEFT - NELSON ST (Tues 10 July @ 06h23) - Allsound Guard requested assistance after apprehende­d 2 suspects who climbed over fence and stole 2 pallets. Pallets were recovered and suspects were handed over to SAPS.

THEFT OUT M.V. - LONG ST (Tues 10 July @ 12h30) - Client phoned to report that they caught a suspect breaking into a vehicle. Officers responded and SAPS were notified. Suspect was handed over to SAPS.

INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES

BURGLARY - NEKKIES (Wed 11 July @ 00h51) – Officer responded to alarm signal at premises and found window at back broken. He heard noises inside and called for back up. Suspect was apprehende­d inside the building. Case was opened and suspect was charged.

HUNTERS HOME / REXFORD / FISHER HAVEN

BURGLARY - GALJOEN ST (Sat 7 July @ 09h35) - Client telephoned to report that their shed was broken into during the night. A Lawnmower, Weedeater and 2 Bicycles were reported missing. Client declined to open a case at the time.

BUFFALO BAY

THEFT - PANORAMA ST (Mon 9 July @ 18h17) - Resident phoned to report that cash and a gold bracelet were stolen. Resident suspected that the incident took place 2 nights earlier when balcony door was opened and they heard a noise. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
