THEFT OUT M.V. - VOORTREKKER ST (T­hurs 4 Oc­to­ber @ 03h05) – All­sound Ca­me­ra O­pe­ra­tor dis­pa­t­ched vehi­cle af­ter spot­ting 2 sus­pi­ci­ous per­sons on com­mu­ni­ty ca­me­ras. S­to­len goods we­re re­co­ve­r­ed and la­ter lin­ked to o­w­ner in Voortrekker s­treet. (Vi­sit Fa­ce­book pa­ge for mo­re in­fo.) SHOPLIFTING - LONG ST (Fri 5 Oc­to­ber @ 12h55) - C­lient te­lep­ho­ned to re­quest as­sis­tan­ce to shoplifting. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied and a ca­se was o­pe­ned. SHOPLIFTING - MAIN ST (Fri 5 Oc­to­ber @ 16h40) – All­sound guards ap­pre­hen­ded a sus­pect for shoplifting clo­thing. A ca­se was o­pe­ned and sus­pect (on pa­ro­le) was han­ded o­ver to SAPS. THEFT - LONG ST (Sat 6 Oc­to­ber @ 14h49) - C­lient re­que­sted as­sis­tan­ce af­ter a guest re­por­ted that cash was mis­sing from their room. Se­ar­ches we­re con­ducted but no­thing was found. Mat­ter was furt­her de­alt with in­ter­nal­ly.

THEFT - GRAY ST (Sat 6 Oc­to­ber @ 23h21) - C­lient pho­ned to re­port that so­meo­ne tried to o­pen their door. The sus­pect then sto­le a set of keys and fled. A­rea was se­ar­ched, sus­pect not found. THEFT - GRAY ST (Sun 7 Oc­to­ber @ 15h45) - Guest re­por­ted to SAPS that his wal­let had been s­to­len. Guest could not re­mem­ber w­he­re he lost it. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied and a ca­se was o­pe­ned. SHOPLIFTING - WATERFRONT DR (Wed 10 Oc­to­ber @ 09h09) - C­lient re­por­ted wit­nes­sing a shoplifting and sus­pect fleeing in a vehi­cle. All­sound Of­fi­cers and SAPS we­re a­ler­ted with the vehi­cle and sus­pect in­for­ma­ti­on. The sus­pect was ap­pre­hen­ded a short whi­le la­ter. S­to­len goods we­re not re­co­ve­r­ed. A ca­se was o­pe­ned and sus­pect was char­ged.

BURGLARY - BOK­MA­KIE­RIE ST (Fri 5 Oc­to­ber @ 09h25) - C­lient re­por­ted seeing a sus­pi­ci­ous per­son run­ning from neig­hbou­ring pro­per­ty and jum­ping in­to a vehi­cle. All­sound Of­fi­cers we­re pro­vi­ded with the de­tails of the vehi­cle. The vehi­cle was in­ter­cep­ted in to­wn and occu­pants we­re ar­res­ted for pos­ses­si­on of s­to­len goods. A ca­se was o­pe­ned. BURGLARY - OLD TOLL RD (Sat 6 Oc­to­ber @ 20h29) - C­lient acti­va­ted the pa­nic af­ter sus­pect bro­ke in­to out­si­de en­ter­tai­n­ment a­rea. A spea­ker and Ta­blet we­re s­to­len. A­rea was se­ar­ched, sus­pect/s not found. Ca­se was o­pe­ned with SAPS.

IN­DUS­TRI­AL A­REA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES

BURGLARY - MFELENI ST (Sun 7 Oc­to­ber @ 03h48) - Of­fi­cer re­spon­ded to a­larm sig­nal and found fen­ce cut and win­dow for­ced o­pen. Key­hol­der was no­ti­fied and re­por­ted no­thing vi­si­bly mis­sing. Ca­se was la­ter o­pe­ned.

HUNTERS HO­ME / REXFORD / FIS­HER HAVEN

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY BARACUDA ST (Sun 7 Oc­to­ber @ 23h42) - A­larm and pa­nic sig­nals we­re re­cei­ved. C­lient re­por­ted that so­meo­ne pul­led o­pen a win­dow at the back of the pro­per­ty and fled w­hen he dis­tur­bed. No en­try was gai­ned and no­thing was re­por­ted mis­sing.
