HOU­SE ROBBERY - RAWSON ST (Fri 26 Oc­to­ber @ 05h07) – C­lient pho­ned to re­quest as­sis­tan­ce af­ter a sus­pect en­te­red his 2nd floor flat via o­pen s­li­ding door. Sus­pect con­fron­ted the ho­me­o­w­ner and stab­bed him in his hand du­ring an al­ter­ca­ti­on. Sus­pect fled emp­ty­han­ded. C­lient was tre­a­ted in hos­pi­tal for his in­ju­ries and a ca­se was o­pe­ned by SAPS. BURGLARY - GOR­DON ST (Fri 26 Oc­to­ber @ 08h29) - Sus­pect en­te­red a gue­sts’ room via o­pen win­dow so­meti­me du­ring the nig­ht. Gu­est con­fir­med that a wa­tch, wal­let and cel­lp­ho­ne we­re sto­len. Gu­est de­cli­ned to o­pen a ca­se.

THEFT - LONG ST (Fri 26 Oc­to­ber @ 16h57) – C­lient pho­ned in to re­port that lap­top was sto­len. A re­view of ca­me­ras i­den­ti­fied 2 pos­si­ble sus­pects who en­te­red pre­mi­ses a­round 13h00 and left with a lap­top bag. C­lient would o­pen a ca­se with SAPS.

SHOPLIFTING - NEL­SON ST (Sat 27 Oc­to­ber @ 14h01) - Shop Se­cu­ri­ty re­por­ted that 2 la­dies sto­le goods from the sto­re. T­hey re­por­ted­ly said t­hey we­re going to get a trol­ley and ne­ver re­tur­ned. No ca­se was o­pe­ned.

BURGLARY - ST GEORGES ST (Sun 28 Oc­to­ber @ 08h34) - C­lient re­por­ted a bre­ak-in at the pre­mi­ses. Sus­pect/s bro­ke win­dow and pul­led clo­thing i­tems through the win­dow. No ca­se was o­pe­ned.


VOOR­TREK­KER ST (Mon 29 Oc­to­ber @ 03h44) - C­lient re­que­sted as­sis­tan­ce af­ter his vehi­cle was bro­ken in­to. The log­book was re­por­ted mis­sing. Ca­se was o­pe­ned. SHOPLIFTING - MAIN ST (Mon 29 Oc­to­ber @ 15h36) - All­sound guards re­que­sted SAPS af­ter fe­ma­le sus­pect was caug­ht for shoplifting. Sus­pect was han­ded o­ver to po­li­ce and a ca­se was o­pe­ned.


ATTEMPTED THEFT OUT M.V. MILKWOOD DR (T­hurs 25 Oc­to­ber @ 00h50) - C­lient re­por­ted seeing 2 sus­pects trying to bre­ak-in at vehi­cles. T­hey fled in­to ne­ar­by bus­hes w­hen t­hey saw t­hey we­re being wa­t­ched. Of­fi­cers se­ar­ched the a­rea and chec­ked the vehi­cles. No en­try was gai­ned.


BURGLARY - SORIA ST (Mon 29 Oc­to­ber @ 12h34) - C­lient re­por­ted that her out­si­de sto­re­room was bro­ken in­to so­me ti­me o­ver the wee­kend. Buil­ding ma­te­ri­als we­re re­por­ted mis­sing. Ca­se was o­pe­ned.


HOU­SE ROBBERY - WELBEDACHT RD (Wed 31 Oct @ 15h58) - Re­si­dent stop­ped an All­sound Vehi­cle to re­port that a sus­pect en­te­red their pro­per­ty and sto­le a cash box. W­hen con­fron­ted, the sus­pect thre­a­tened the re­si­dent with a gar­den fork and fled. Ad­di­ti­o­nal vehi­cles we­re dis­pa­t­ched and sur­roun­ding a­rea was se­ar­ched. Sus­pect was not found. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied.


BURGLARY - WK GROBLER RD (Sun 28 Oc­to­ber @ 18h42) - Of­fi­cer re­spon­ded to a­larm sig­nals from pre­mi­ses and con­fir­med bathroom win­dow was bro­ken. O­w­ner was no­ti­fied and con­fir­med no­thing mis­sing from the main hou­se. The cot­ta­ge had al­so been bro­ken in­to and a flat screen TV was sto­len. C­lient would o­pen a ca­se the fol­lo­wing day.

THEFT OUT M.V. - WATSONIA DR (Mon 29 Oc­to­ber @ 01h17) - All­sound Ca­me­ra O­pe­ra­tor spot­ted a sus­pect on ca­me­ras in the a­rea. Sus­pect was seen clim­bing in­to a par­ked vehi­cle. Of­fi­cers we­re dis­pa­t­ched and se­ar­ched the a­rea. Sus­pect was not found. No­thing re­por­ted mis­sing from the vehi­cle at the ti­me. R­HEE­NEN­DAL / PHANTOM RI­VER BURGLARY - R­HEE­NEN­DAL RD (Fri 26 Oc­to­ber @ 06h50) - C­lient pho­ned our Con­t­rol Room to re­port that the­re had been a bre­ak-in at the pre­mi­ses. Sus­pects en­te­red via sto­re room and da­ma­ged a­larm pa­nel. Cash and so­me food we­re re­por­ted sto­len. Ca­se was o­pe­ned with SAPS. ATTEMPTED THEFT - PHANTOM RI­VER RD (Sat 27 Oc­to­ber @ 19h18) C­lient pho­ned in to re­port that the­re was an in­tru­der in neig­hbour’s hou­se. Sus­pect had en­te­red via o­pen door but fled w­hen the re­si­dent dis­tur­bed him. No­thing re­por­ted mis­sing. No ca­se was o­pe­ned.


THEFT - GREENHOLE (T­hurs 25 Oc­to­ber @ 13h59) - A vi­si­tor re­por­ted that her back­pack was sto­len from the be­ach a­rea.

Re­view of the ca­me­ras sho­wed the sus­pect ta­king the bag and dum­ping it in ne­ar­by bus­hes. The bag was re­co­ve­r­ed with va­lu­a­bles re­mo­ved. Sus­pect was se­ar­ched for but not found. No ca­se was o­pe­ned. THEFT - KINGSWAY AND GE­OR­GE REX DR (Wed 31 Oc­to­ber @ 16h30 and 21h44) - All­sound re­spon­ded to 2 incidents of a man e­a­ting at Re­stau­rants and le­a­ving wit­hout paying. Both re­stau­rants de­cli­ned to o­pen a ca­se and the man was re­le­a­sed.
