ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - MAIN ST (T­hurs 15 No­vem­ber @ 08h50) – C­lient found a win­dow bro­ken on ar­ri­val at pre­mi­ses. No en­try was gai­ned to shop. CCTV foota­ge sho­wed a man smashing win­dow and wal­king a­way. COMMON ROBBERY - LONG ST (Fri 23 No­vem­ber @ 12h19) - C­lient te­lep­ho­ned for as­sis­tan­ce af­ter a sus­pect rob­bed her son of a chain and cash and fled. Sus­pect was cha­sed and ap­pre­hen­ded by the mom. Of­fi­cers as­sis­ted and sus­pect was han­ded o­ver to SAPS. SHOPLIFTING - RAWSON ST (Fri 23 No­vem­ber @ 13h27) - C­lient pho­ned in to re­port a com­mo­ti­on out­si­de his shop. Of­fi­cers re­spon­ded and as­sis­ted with Shoplifting sus­pect who had been ap­pre­hen­ded by off-du­ty of­fi­cer. THEFT - QUEEN ST (Fri 23 No­vem­ber @ 17h05) - Of­fi­cer was dis­pa­t­ched to a pa­nic a­larm. C­lient re­por­ted that 2 cus­hi­ons we­re sto­len from re­cep­ti­on a­rea w­hen she was at back of pre­mi­ses. No des­crip­ti­on a­vai­la­ble of the sus­pects. ATTEMPTED BURGLARY VOORTREKKER ST (Fri 23 No­vem­ber @ 17h31) - Of­fi­cer re­spon­ded to a­larm and re­por­ted kit­chen door stan­ding o­pen with for­ce marks. C­lient was no­ti­fied. No­thing re­por­ted mis­sing. SHOPLIFTING - MAIN ST (Sat 24 No­vem­ber @ 12h07) - All­sound Guards re­por­ted that a fe­ma­le sus­pect was ap­pre­hen­ded for shoplifting. Ca­se was o­pe­ned by s­to­re ma­na­ger and sus­pect was han­ded o­ver to SAPS.

THEFT OUT M.V. - VOORTREKKER ST (Sat 24 No­vem­ber @ 20h46) - Sus­pect acti­va­ted the pa­nic af­ter sus­pects for­ced o­pen the win­dow of his bak­kie. They fled emp­ty-han­ded af­ter being dis­tur­bed. No­thing was mis­sing, no ca­se was o­pe­ned. COMMON ROBBERY - FICHAT ST (Mon 26 No­vem­ber @ 16h34) - All­sound Ca­me­ra con­trol­ler no­ti­ced sus­pi­ci­ous acti­vi­ty on the ca­me­ras. A gent­le­man had been rob­bed of his cel­lp­ho­ne. All­sound Of­fi­cers ap­pre­hen­ded all 4 sus­pects in­vol­ved. Sus­pects we­re ar­res­ted and char­ged. Vi­sit our Fa­ce­book pa­ge for mo­re. THEFT OUT OF M.V - NEW ST (Mon 26 No­vem­ber @ 21h58) - C­lient stop­ped our Re­spon­se Of­fi­cer to re­port that a ve­hi­cle was bro­ken in­to out­si­de his pre­mi­ses. Win­dow was smas­hed and a hand­bag was sto­len. No clo­thing des­crip­ti­on was a­vai­la­ble. Ca­se was o­pe­ned. COMMON ROBBERY - HIGH ST (Wed 28 No­vem­ber @ 09h47) - C­lient re­que­sted as­sis­tan­ce af­ter a sus­pect grab­bed his ca­me­ra and fled. C­lient was in­ju­red du­ring the tus­sle.

A des­crip­ti­on was pro­vi­ded. All­sound and SAPS Of­fi­cers se­ar­ched the a­rea and sur­rounds. No ar­res­ts we­re made. SHOPLIFTING - RAWSON ST (Wed 28 No­vem­ber @ 17h14) - Of­fi­cers re­spon­ded to a pa­nic a­larm. Bu­si­ness o­w­ner ap­pre­hen­ded a sus­pect ste­a­ling me­at. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied, ca­se was o­pe­ned and sus­pect char­ged ac­cor­dingly.


THEFT OUT OF M.V - OLD TOLL RD (Sat 24 No­vem­ber @ 03h54) - A la­dy stop­ped our a­rea-ba­sed Re­spon­se Of­fi­cer for as­sis­tan­ce af­ter 2 sus­pects threw a brick through her ve­hi­cle win­dow as she stop­ped. Sus­pects grab­bed her bag and fled. Of­fi­cers se­ar­ched sur­roun­ding a­rea, sus­pects not found.

THEFT - MEEU ST (Mon 26 No­vem­ber @ 03h11) - All­sound Of­fi­cer re­que­sted as­sis­tan­ce af­ter cha­sing a sus­pect who sto­le a tri­cy­cle from his property. Sus­pect drop­ped the bi­ke. No ca­se was o­pe­ned.


THEFT - PROGRESS ST (Fri 23 No­vem­ber @ 11h01) - C­lient re­que­sted as­sis­tan­ce af­ter a sus­pect was caug­ht ste­a­ling tools from their pre­mi­ses. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied and sus­pect was han­ded o­ver.


BURGLARY - HAN­DEL ST (T­hurs 22 No­vem­ber @ 09h35) - Mem­ber of Mu­ni­ci­pal Law en­for­ce­ment re­por­ted that 2 sus­pects we­re in his hou­se and tried to ste­al a bi­cy­cle. They fled w­hen he dis­tur­bed them. Ne­ar­by CCTV ca­me­ras we­re re­vie­wed and sus­pects we­re i­den­ti­fied. An a­lert was sent out and SAPS K9 u­nit ap­pre­hen­ded both sus­pects in to­wn. A ca­se was o­pe­ned and sus­pects we­re char­ged.

THEFT - RIDGE DR (T­hurs 22 No­vem­ber @ 09h37) - C­lient re­por­ted that planks we­re sto­len from her property. Sus­pect was i­den­ti­fied and in­for­ma­ti­on han­ded o­ver. No ar­res­ts could be made wit­hout a ca­se o­pe­ned.

THEFT OUT OF M.V. - TEMPLEMAN DR (Sun 25 No­vem­ber @ 02h57) - C­lient re­por­ted that her car a­larm trig­ge­red. Of­fi­cer re­spon­ded and found that a win­dow had been smas­hed. O­w­ner con­fir­med that no­thing was mis­sing. No ca­se was o­pe­ned.


THEFT OUT M.V. - SALT RI­VER RD (Wed 28 No­vem­ber @ 16h35) - Re­si­dent re­por­ted that her hand­bag and cel­lp­ho­ne was sto­len from their ve­hi­cle. The bag was found in ne­ar­by bus­hes but the wal­let and cel­lp­ho­ne we­re mis­sing. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied.


BURGLARY - CUTHBERT ST (T­hurs 22 No­vem­ber @ 17h11) - C­lient pho­ned in to re­port a bre­ak-in at cot­ta­ge on the property.

A lap­top was re­por­ted mis­sing. All­sound Of­fi­cer spot­ted well-kno­wn sus­pect wal­king to­wards him and w­hen he stop­ped, sus­pect drop­ped a back­pack and ran. The bag con­tai­ned the sto­len lap­top. A ca­se was o­pe­ned and the sus­pect was ar­res­ted la­ter that nig­ht by SAPS.


THEFT - WATSONIA DR (Fri 23 No­vem­ber @ 10h44) - Buil­der pho­ned in to re­port that planks we­re sto­len from their buil­ding si­te so­meti­me du­ring the nig­ht. No ca­se was o­pe­ned.

THEFT OUT OF M.V - GLADIOLUS DR (Wed 28 No­vem­ber @ 09h28) - C­lient acti­va­ted the a­larm af­ter her bag was sto­len from her car. The bag and cel­lp­ho­ne we­re re­co­ve­r­ed but sus­pect fled. No ar­res­ts we­re made. SAPS we­re no­ti­fied for a ca­se to be o­pe­ned.
