Parking at Sedgefield viewpoint needs fixing

The road at the parking of the Sedgefield river-mouth viewpoint has been cordoned off as unsafe for parking for many months now.

Knysna Municipality has done nothing yet to rectify the situation in all this time and the December holidays are just around the corner.

The current situation is going to cause much congestion and lack of parking for the beachgoers, but this does not seem to concern our overpaid municipal management.

We thank the author for bringing his concerns to our attention. Due to financial constraints, provision for the Sedgefield river-mouth parking repair work will be made in the next financial year.
