Huge thank you from Famsa
Karin du Plessis, Famsa:
Famsa Knysna and Plettenberg Bay would like to honour our community for the generous giving towards our street collection held recently in the Plettenberg Bay/Knysna and Sedgefield areas. We collected a total of R19 850. This goes towards much-needed funding to assist with running costs which most funders do not cover.
We would like to thank the following businesses for allowing us to stand at their entrances:
Plettenberg Bay: Melville’s Square, The Square, Market Square, Plettenberg Mall,
Beacon Island Centre, Harkerville Market and Rice ‘n Linen.
Knysna: Eastend KwikSpar, Spar, Woodmill Lane: Pick ‘n Pay, Knysna Mall, Builders, Agri, The German Shop and Knysna Book Exchange.
Sedgefield: Pick ‘n Pay and Mosaic Market.
We would like to thank all the people who volunteered their time to receive all this money: Knysna Remax, The Rock Church, Rotary Anns, Famsa volunteers, Hospice, staff and their family members, members of the public and Hedy and her team for counting.
