The Knys­na Gar­den Club is hos­ting an an­nu­al fun­drai­ser to as­sist the ste­ri­li­sa­ti­on pro­gram­me at Kaws.

The fun­drai­ser ta­kes the form of a raf­fle and is now o­pen to the pu­blic. Tic­kets of R10 e­ach are a­vai­la­ble at Ge­or­ge Rex Vet in Ge­or­ge Rex D­ri­ve or at Li­quor Ci­ty on 23 Nel­son S­treet (next to Mi­das).

Two se­pa­ra­te draws will ta­ke pla­ce and three ham­pers will be gi­ven a­way – one on 24 De­cem­ber and a­not­her two draws on 31 De­cem­ber.

The three ham­pers are to the va­lue of R500 and in­clu­de bott­les of wi­ne, sweets and nuts.

“The ste­ri­li­sa­ti­on pro­gram­me is an in­cre­di­bly im­por­tant ser­vi­ce pro­vi­ded by Kaws. It as­sis­ts in re­du­cing the num­ber of un­wan­ted pup­pies that are born and e­ven­tu­al­ly find them­sel­ves a­bu­sed or a­bando­ned,” says the club’sCa­rol Sny­man.
