Several businesses, including the town's industrial area, were hit hard when protesters vandalised and plundered their premises during the action. She also urged the public to come forward with information that could lead to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects who burgled businesses during the protests. Anyone with information can contact detective Warrant Officer Andrew Isaacs on 044 501 1951/1901 or 067 403 9096, or detective Sergeant Edwin Smith on 083 538 0886.
