New outdoor Art Fair

The Farm Market

At The Farm Craft, Food & Vintage Market on Spring Day 1 September, 10:00 to 14:00 you’ll find super keen gardeners with every category from herbs and vegetables to fruit and plants, including a glorious diversity from fynbos to succulents. You will also unearth all the local star bakers, jams, spices, chutneys, Italian sauce makers and more, and enjoy scrumptiou­s breakfast or lunch in between browsing stalls for handmade good.

Gardening @ Leisure

The next meeting of Gardening @ Leisure will be held on 6 September at 10:00, at Sassenheim Estate on the N2 towards Plett, on the left just before the Airport Road turn-off (Harkervill­e). Tree Society

On Sunday 8 September at 10:00, the Outeniqua branch of the Dendrologi­cal (Tree) Society will be visiting Hidden Valley, Ruigtevlei. The walk will be through fynbos which has not been burnt over 30 years, then through the forest margin transition­al zone to a viewpoint looking down indigenous forested slopes to the Karatara River. Embroidery Guild
