Jabs for epilepsy residents

- Blake Linder

KNYSNA - A group of residents and day care attendees at the Epilepsy SA Southern Cape recently received their first doses of the Covid-19 Pfizer vaccine.

Sister Claire Vegter and Sister Bongekile Radebe of the Knysna Provincial Hospital administered the vaccines to 20 residents and day care attendees on Thursday 5 August. "They were so kind and professional and put all the people being vaccinated at ease. Friendly, thorough with the ID and form checks and greeted each and every one with a smile," said the branch's marketer, Ashleigh Smith.

"The nurse administering the vaccine was extremely gentle and some of the residents didn't even feel it! We are so grateful and would like to praise you both for your professional, yet gentle and compassionate way that you treated our residents. With staff like you at our provincial hospital we can't go wrong!"
