Baseball youngsters earmarked by Eden
KNYSNA - Seven young baseball players from the Hornets Sports Academy have been talent spotted by the Eden Baseball Federation during a visit on Saturday 18 September. The academy offers an after-school baseball programme based in Hornlee, and according to head coach Roneldo van Rooyen the visit from Eden was based on talent identification in the programme. "We want to give access to the sport, to develop and monitor talented baseball athletes within the community," he said. Through the talent identification visit, the Eden Baseball Federation picked out seven Hornets players who will visit George this weekend to receive additional coaching.
