KNYSNA - The upcoming annual Knysna Initiative for Learning and Teaching (Kilt) Family Fun Day will take place on 21 October at the Knysna High sports field.

The event will be held in support of Kilt's mission of providing quality education and opportunities for every child in Knysna to dream big. This event not only brings the local community together, but also contributes to the improvement of education in Knysna.

The fun day is an eagerly awaited event that unites the community in support of a worthy cause. By attending this event, we can make a difference in the lives of Knysna's children, ensuring they have access to a brighter future through education.

One of the main highlights of the day will be an exhilarating seven-a-side soccer tournament for talented school teams and local businesses. This tournament allows young participants to showcase their skills, build camaraderie, and, above all, have a great time. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors like Drydock, 34 Degrees, Tapas, Sirocco, Knysna Golf Club, Knysna Mall, Oasis, Avbob and many others, the Kilt school teams will receive soccer kits.

Entertainment will include an incredible line-up of live performances throughout the day. Local artists Shaza and Queen Justice will take the stage. Additionally, a talented local school dance group will dazzle with their impressive routines.

The day will have something for everyone in the family. Children will have a blast with jumping castles, face painting, and cookie decorating activities. Food trucks will be on site, offering a variety of treats to satisfy appetites.
