Counting down the days to Leisure Isle Fest 2023

-

The 2023 Leisure Isle Festival is now merely a week away, with excitement ramping up for the event on 4 and 5 November. It is once again sponsored by Lew Geffen Sotheby’s International Realty Knysna.

The festival will be held in the "villagegreen" atmosphere of Kings Park on Leisure Isle, opposite Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty office. This is the 20th edition of the festival, that has raised more than R2,35m for charities since its very small beginnings in 2003.

There will be a mouth-watering array of food and drink, a beer tent as well as art and crafts, toys, a huge array of books, indigenous and other plants and many other delights. Take the whole family and relax in idyllic surroundings in the tea and beer gardens or under the trees in the food section.

The event, organised by a group of volunteers, aims to provide opportunities for local charities to participate and raise funds to benefit the wider Knysna community. Once again, special effort will be made to provide local emerging crafters and small businesses a marketplace for their high-quality products.

The organisers recognise Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty Knysna for continuing its vital support and thank them and all the other sponsors, friends of the festival, and supporters.

"So much has changed during the last two years," said organisers. "We know that many people have started new ventures during this time, and we look forward to seeing what the community has created. Please like our Facebook page, Leisure Isle Festival and follow us on Instagram @leisure_isle_festival for more information. Looking forward to celebrating with all of you!"
