UP holds 20th Joy Party

SEDGEFIELD - It's the season to be jolly - and if you are looking for some joy, this family event is a win for all! The UP Joy Party is coming to the Catholic Church hall in Sedgefield this Saturday, 16 December, from 10:00 to 12:00.

Expect a Secret Sunrise boogie, exclusive premiere of their documentar­y and more. Not only can it be enjoyed live, there will be a simultaneo­us connection to three locations - Cape Town, Sedgefield, and online.

The UP is a public benefit organisati­on dedicated to uplifting people through creative arts, sharing joy, and providing emotional and mental wellness tools.

The founding cheerlady and one of the facilitato­rs of the event is ex- Isidingo Actress Nikki Jackman Joy, who lives in the area now. The UP has been sharing Joy with local NGOs and the George Hospital children, while also rolling out its caregiver programme to the staff of George Hospital.

Bring your family and join their 20th Joy Party for two hours of fun, including an exclusive premier of their 24-minute documentar­y. All proceeds sUPport the UP to roll out joy in four regions in South Africa. UP's mission is to scale UP emotional and mental wellness.

It is a social enterprise, registered as a not-for-profit and a public benefit organisati­on. For two decades, UP has uplifted over 50 000 beneficiar­ies, including children, youth, differentl­y abled individual­s, and their caregivers. Let's bring some good Garden Route cheer and celebrate this special smilestone.
