Keanan rocking for Kaws

-

KNYSNA - After taking the European music scene by storm, Keanan Eksteen and his band will be treating local audiences to a performance of their unique blend of classic and contemporary rock at Blend Country Restaurant on Saturday 27 April.

This dynamic four-piece rock and roll band hailing from the heart of Cape Town are known for their high-energy performances and electrifying stage presence.

"From the first encounter, I immediately connected with the music - it's a thrilling new international sound that I know the Knysna audience will enjoy! And party to..!" says organiser Dominic Morel of Better Live Events.

Keanan and the band's music seamlessly combines the raw power and charisma of classic rock legends with a modern, edgy twist.

In just two years, they have accomplished what many aspiring rock bands only dream of: not one, but two successful European tours. And now they have set their target on wowing music fans on a Western Cape Tour.

Apart from mere performance, Eksteen is an animal-lover, and in February of this year he not only visited the SPCA in Cape Town, but also helped raise funds with a host of other acts... and Knysna will be no different.

Passionate about the homing of abandoned and abused pets, he and the band will visit the Kaws Kennels in Knysna - and help give some insight and awareness to the very worthwhile charity organisation.

"My wife, Lucy, and I are both very involved in the well-being and fostering of animals, so we are both ecstatic to be able to assist Belinda, Richelle and the dedicated team at Kaws... and have some fun while raising much-needed funds as well!", adds Morel.

Some 20% of all ticket sales at this event (not just profit) will be donated to Kaws.

Catch Keanan Eksteen and band at Blend Country Restaurant on Saturday 27 April from 19:00 (gates open at 18:00). Tickets are available at Quicket.co.za, or from the venue. alternatively, visit / BetterLiveSA on Facebook.
