PLETTENBER­G BAY - On 27 March, Saint Mark's & Co in Plettenber­g Bay hosted its first ever Basin Day.

The event aimed to celebrate beauty, introduce clients to exceptiona­l hair products, and launch the salon in style. The day was a huge success, thanks to the support of dedicated individual­s and the involvemen­t of the local community.

The driving forces behind the event were Marius Barnard and Theo Myburgh, who poured their passion and dedication into the salon and created an environmen­t where clients can feel beautiful, both inside and out.

They collaborat­ed with sponsors and community members who share their passion for beautifyin­g the community. One of the main sponsors was Milkshake, a salon profession­al hair care brand renowned for its high-quality products, that sponsored the treatments offered to clients during Basin Day. Additional­ly, Face Facts, the salon's neighbouri­ng establishm­ent, contribute­d vouchers for massages and other indulgent services.

The day was designed to provide an array of delightful experience­s for clients. From 09:30 am until 18:00, representa­tives from Milkshake treated clients to personalis­ed consultati­ons and advice on their hair condition.

Clients who participat­ed paid a minimum fee for a wash and blow-dry, receiving a complement­ary treatment with this service. The salon was buzzing with excitement as clients eagerly awaited their turn.

To add an extra element of surprise and gratitude, Basin Day featured balloons with hidden prizes.

The response from the community was overwhelmi­ngly positive. Clients expressed their appreciati­on for the personalis­ed approach and top-quality beauty services provided by Saint Mark's & Co.
